Winner of Women's Lacrosse Goggle Competition
Winner of the Redesign of Women's Lacrosse Goggles for Cascade to preserve the pureness of Women's Lacrosse
The idea behind these goggles was to streamline the current design into a less aggressive, more feminine shape. Studies showed that as the bulkiness of the gear increased in Lacrosse, so did the injuries, from a perceived sense of protection. Women's Lacrosse is played by rules, closest to the original native American game, and their equipment is also most closely related to the original equipment, especially in the stick design. These goggles are designed to strip down the false sense of protection to preserve the pureness of the sport.
